By making all their denims in organic cotton instead of conventional cotton they save 7 bathtubs of water per produced pair. Organic cotton differs from conventional cotton since it protects the soil from degrading quality and requires less water usage. It is grown without the use of harmful chemicals, protecting the ecosystem and the health of farmers. Their leather labels are tanned in a chrome-free tanning process, using a combination of synthetic and vegetable tannins and minerals. Water waste is up to 35-40% less if compared to the conventional tanning.
