Alice and Sarah - Decor living
Last Christmas we had so much fun sharing the creative pursuits of our community (see insta highlight Swenskmas) and this year for our 2024 gift guide, we are super excited to share the divine curation of Scandinavian homewares by our good friends at Decor Living.
Alice Marin established Decor Living in 2022, after more than 10 years in the homewares distribution industry. Enlisting the creative direction of friend Sarah Muncey, Decor Living was born from a desire to create a collection of beautiful, useful and effortlessly cool home and lifestyle pieces that you would want to own yourself or gift to someone lovely.
With a penchant for Scandinavian, European and Japanese design aesthetics, Decor Living offer a comprehensive curation of new and niche brands that sit beautifully alongside some better-known icons in home decor & lifestyle products.
We first met Alice and her husband Pete when our youngest children were in the same class at primary school. After many morning drop-off chats, we knew we’d met like-minded people. An impromptu visit to our Swensk Melbourne store (while hunting for suits) was how we met Sarah & her husband Cam. Notably, both Pete and Cam are musicians in the same iconic Aussie rock band (could this be any more tightly woven?!)
Luckily for us they both wear many pieces from our Swensk collection, including Filippa K, Tiger of Sweden, and aptly the ‘rock’n’roll’ Jeans 25 from BLK DNM.
We have pulled together a selection of our favourite Decor Living pieces (with some notes on who wants what!) and our curation is available to view in store at Swensk from 1 December.
We know you will love everything at Decor Living so head over to decorlivingonline.com.au enjoy perusing their full collection.
